2004 City Centre crime.
Between January and November, 2004, 408 thefts from stores were recorded. 295 arrests were carried out. The detection rate for the City centre shop theft is 73.6%; 336 detections out of 408 – This is nearly three times the national rate. The police and shops work in partnership with CCTV and continue to show good results. |
